  • A year ago, I was in need of something to happen to my driveway. It had not been attended to since my late husband passed away almost 20 years earlier. I called a friend of mine and she recommended Cross Country Paving. The owner, Lawrence Benson, came and evaluated my driveway. He gave me 2 estimates: one for sealing the current driveway or for totally replacing it. Lawrence is very knowledgeable about what he does and explained the pros and cons of each option together with the estimates. I chose to replace the entire driveway because 1) it would last much longer than just sealing it; and 2) the price was very reasonable. Lawrence did not pressure me at all and just said to call him when I had decided. I did and when he returned to measure, etc., he also noticed that I had a downspout that emptied on to my sidewalk and the backflow was beginning to affect the foundation of the garage. He suggested that while he and his workers were working on the driveway, they could also dig up the one section of sidewalk, run a PVC pipe under the sidewalk and divert the water out into the front yard. Again, no pressure, and this additional improvement cost was well worth the price. I totally recommend Cross Country Paving for any and all of someone’s paving needs. The owner is polite and very easy to talk to and ask questions of; and his entire team are efficient, timely, complete the job entirely, and clean up after finishing the job. I would highly recommend Cross Country Paving to anyone that has need of any of their services, e.g. driveways, paving, concrete work, paving stones, etc. I guarantee that you will be pleased with the finished job!
